OVERSEER STANLEY KIDD

Overseer Dr. Stanley M. Kidd is the founding Pastor and Overseer of the former Bethlehem Missionary Church, Inc., located in Queens Village, New York. He was ordained a minister by the National Council of the Assemblies of God Church, Jamaica, W.I. in 1958. Dr. Kidd received an honorary Doctorate degree from Anchor Theological Seminary and Bible Institute in 2001. His ministry is affiliated with Covenant Ministries International, under the leadership of Dr. David T. Demola of Faith Fellowship Ministries International in Sayerville, New Jersey.

Dr. Stanley Kidd accepted Christ as personal Savior and Lord in his native Jamaica at the age of 23. He grew up in the Assemblies of God under the leadership of the late Cyril C. Huckerby. He was an ardent student of the Word of God and he studied diligently under this pastor, where he learned different areas of ministry and served in various churches on the island.

In 1968, Dr. Kidd migrated to the United States, and in 1977, the Lord led him to pioneer Bethlehem Missionary Church, Inc., which began with three individuals in the living room of his own home.

In April 2001, Bethlehem Missionary Church, under Dr. Stanley Kidd's leadership, dedicated a new sanctuary to the Lord. The building was recognized with a special award by the Queens Chamber of Commerce in 2004 with first prize for "Excellence in Design" amongst other religious edifices in Queens.

Dr. Kidd has a deep desire to see souls come to know Jesus as Lord. He has a special heart for missions. From the inception of BMC, he has both lead and sent teams on missionary trips to the Holy Land, United Kingdom, Nigeria, Ghana, Jamaica, Antigua, Nevis, St. Kitts, Grenada, Guyana, Trinidad, and Belize.

Dr. Kidd is known at length as a man of deep moral character and personal and fiscal integrity. He has the heart of a pastor. For many years, Dr. Kidd hosted a monthly Pastoral Fellowship at BMC's facility with other ministers for the purpose of strengthening and encouraging other pastors in the ministry. Dr. Kidd is highly respected by his peers as a man of humility and is known as a "pastor's pastor."

Dr. Stanley Kidd is married to his wife Lenore, who co-pastored with him for many years, and later became the Senior Pastor of Bethlehem Missionary Church. God has blessed this couple with three children and two grandchildren.

Pastor Lenore Kidd  served the Lord faithfully from the inception of Bethlehem Missionary Church in 1977. Prior to becoming the Senior Pastor of Bethlehem Missionary Church, she served as co-pastor; fulltime administrator of the church, and minister in charge of the Education Department. She was instrumental in pioneering the Women's Ministry, and served as its president for many years. Under her leadership the women's ministry became a powerful arm of the church and an empowerment tool for the church.

In 2006 under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, Rev. Lenore established a Prayer Ministry that serves both as an invaluable support to the church, and a training tool for believers in teaching them how to pray the "Word of God." She is a mighty woman of God who understands the power of prayer and challenges the church to take their rightful place in the Kingdom.

Rev. Kidd is committed to teaching, preparing, and equipping the saints of God with the tools necessary to discover the call of God on their lives. Operating in faith, unity, and love, she endeavors to see the Gospel reach our entire community, city, nation, and ultimately the world. She has worked effortlessly to see the vision accomplished, as daily she imparted to the members of BMC that same zeal and enthusiasm of sharing the love of Christ with the lost. As a result of her upholding both a spirit of excellence and integrity in ministry, she has catapulted the body of Christ into "deeper depths and higher heights" in God's vision for the church.

Rev. Lenore's many spiritual gifts has opened doors for her to minister the Word of God at conferences and churches in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Africa, Guyana, and many Islands in the Caribbean. She earned an Associate Degree in Biblical Studies from Vision International University and a B.A. degree in Theology from Anchor Theological Seminary. Rev. Lenore hosts a weekly radio broadcast, "Life's Hope," which airs on WMCA 570 AM.
